【摘要】:Furnacesforheattreatmentofsteelproductsareusedinmanyindustries,inmanyways.Regardlessofheattreatfurnacetype,orprocessingcycle,itmaybenecessaryforuserstoknowthetemperatureuniformityinthefurnaceandwhetherthematerialisprocessedinazonewithinthefurnacethatiscapableofmeetingtheapplicablepermissibletemperaturevariationrequirements.Theproceduresinthistestmethodmaybeusedbythoseusing,manufacturing,andprovidingcalibrationservicefor,heattreatfurnacesusedtoprocesssteelproducts.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheproceduresusedtoconductatemperatureuniformitysurveyonafurnaceusedtoheattreatsteelproducts.Thismethodisusedtodeterminethecapabilityofthefurnacetomeetthepermissibletemperaturevariationspecifiedintheapplicableproductspecification,orasagreedtobythepurchaserandsupplierofheattreatservices.Surveydocumentationrequirements,andtheprocedureusedtosubsequentlyestablishthefurnaceworkingzone,aredefinedinthistestmethod.1.2Thistestmethodcoversheattreatfurnacesinanyofthefollowingcategories:1.2.1Continuousorsemi-continuousconveyancefurnaces,1.2.2Batchfurnaces,and1.2.3Saltorliquidbathsandfluidizedbeds.1.3Thistestmethodonlyapplieswhenspecifiedintheproductspecificationorthepurchaseorder.1.4Controllingaheattreatmentofsteelproductsusingthermocouplesattachedtotheextremitiesofeachloadisanalternativetoperformingafurnacesurvey.1.5Bymutualagreementbetweenthepurchaserandthesupplierofheattreatservices,morestringentand/oradditionalrequirementsmaybespecified.Theacceptanceofanysuchadditionalrequirementsshallbedependentonnegotiationswiththesupplierandmustbeincludedintheorderasagreeduponbythepurchaserandsupplier.1.6ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.7Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodevaluatesthepercentviscositylossforpolymer-containingfluidsresultingfrompolymerdegradationinthehighshearnozzledevice.Thermaloroxidativeeffectsareminimized.Thistestmethodisusedforqualitycontrolpurposesbymanufacturersofpolymericlubricantadditivesandtheircustomers.Thistestmethodisnotintendedtopredictviscositylossinfieldserviceindifferentfieldequipmentunderwidelyvaryingoperatingconditions,whichmaycauselubricantviscositytochangeduetothermalandoxidativechangesaswellasbythemechanicalshearingofpolymer.However,whenthefieldserviceconditions,primarilyorexclusively,resultinthedegradationofpolymerbymechanicalshearing,theremaybeacorrelationbetweentheresultsfromthistestmethodandresultsfromthefield.1.1Thistestmethodcoverstheevaluationoftheshearstabilityofpolymer-containingfluids.Thetestmethodmeasuresthepercentviscositylossat100x00B0;Cofpolymer-containingfluidswhenevaluatedbyadieselinjectorapparatusprocedurethatusesEuropeandieselinjectortestequipment.Theviscositylossreflectspolymerdegradationduetoshearatthenozzle.Note18212;TestMethodD2603hasbeenusedforsimilarevaluationofshearstability;limitationsareasindicatedinthesignificancestatement.Nodetailedattempthasbeenundertakentocorrelatetheresultsofthistestmethodwiththoseofthesonicsheartestmethod.Note28212;ThistestmethodusestestapparatusasdefinedinCECL-14-A-93.ThistestmethoddiffersfromCEC-L-14-A-93intheperiodoftimerequiredforcalibration.Note38212;TestMethodD5275alsoshearsoilsinadieselinjectorapparatusbutmaygivedifferentresults.Note48212;ThistestmethodhasdifferentcalibrationandoperationalrequirementsthanwithdrawnTestMethodD3945.Note58212;TestMethodD7109isasimilarprocedurethatmeasuresshearstabilityatboth30and90injectioncycles.Thistestmethoduses30injectioncyclesonly.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection8.
