【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsmaybeusedforacceptancetestingofcommercialshipments;however,cautionisadvisedbecauseinformationaboutbetweeninterlaboratoryprecisionisincomplete.Comparativetestsasdirectedin5.1.1maybeadvisable.5.1.1Iftherearedifferencesofpracticalsignificancebetweenreportedtestresultsfortwolaboratories(ormore),comparativetestsshouldbeperformedtodetermineifthereisstatisticalbiasbetweenthemusingcompetentstatisticalassistance.Asaminimum,usetestsamplesforsuchcomparativeteststhatareashomogeneousaspossible,drawnfromthesamelotofmaterialasthesamplesthatresultedinthedisparateresultsduringinitialtesting,andthatarerandomlyassignedinequalnumberstoeachlaboratoryfortesting.Thetestresultsfromthelaboratoriesshouldbecomparedusingstatisticaltestforunpaireddataataprobabilitylevelchosenpriortothetestingseries.Ifabiasisfoundeitheritscausemustbefoundandcorrected,orfuturetestresultsforthatmaterialmustbeadjustedinconsiderationoftheknownbias.Thesetestmethodsareusefultoevaluatequalityandcostcontrolduringthemanufactureofpileyarnfloorcovering.Thesignificanceandusesofparticularpropertiesandtestmethodsarediscussedintheappropriatesectionsofthespecifiedtestmethods.1.1Thesetestmethodscovertheprocedureslistedasfollowsfortestingwoven,knittedandnonwovenbackingfabricsdesignedforuseinthemanufactureofpileyarnfloorcoverings.Theproceduresappearinthefollowingorder:1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesininch-poundunitsareprovidedasinformationonlyandarenotexactequivalents.Incaseofrefereedecisions,theSIunitswillprevail.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
